As we know trauma is held in the body and trauma-informed movement practices can be an important part of our healing journey. These yoga classes are taught to address the needs and symptoms of those who have experienced trauma.

About the event

This is a 6-week series for those who have experienced trauma. The classes are taught by a yoga teacher who has specific training to support the needs and yoga practice of each student. Each class there will be a focus on grounding, increasing body awareness in a safe and predictable way, and introduces practices that heal the nervous system. This offering is meant to be a supportive practice for your mind and body, and at no point will you be asked to share anything about your past experiences.
