Jodi Jackson, Registered Psychologist

Hi! Welcome to my profile – I am glad that you are here 🙂 My belief is that each individual has  the power to change  and create a life that is meaningful for them. My role as your therapist is to walk alongside you throughout this journey,  providing a non-judgmental and safe space to explore any barriers that may be impacting your ability to live a fulfilling  and joyful life. I offer a relaxed, compassionate, gentle atmosphere, with a sprinkle of humour.

My approach is client-centered, pulling from narrative, emotion-focused, and somatic modalities. Sometimes we may  also choose to incorporate activities like painting, drawing, and games. I work from a trauma-informed and feminist  lens, ensuring that all of my clients feel safe, respected, and empowered during every session.

I believe you are the expert of your own experiences, and that therapy is a collaborative process; meaning that your  opinions, experiences, and voice are important and valued. I recognize how difficult and overwhelming it can be to  search for a therapist that is the right fit for you, so please feel free to reach out if you would like to learn more about  the therapy process, the modalities I use, or anything else you might be curious about.

In my spare time you can find me trying out new recipes in the kitchen, attempting to make the perfect matcha latte,  playing ringette or going to yoga, or meandering around a second-hand store.
