Manon Hunt, Student Intern

Welcome/Bienvenue! I am excited to join the team at the Collective Healing Centre as an intern. I am currently completing my master’s in counselling psychology at City University. Before pursuing this degree, I taught for five years as a French kindergarten teacher.

My work with students, families and educators has shaped my dedication to serving children, youth and adults as they navigate challenges and uncertainty. I strive to build trust, safety and connection, which guides the process in our therapy room. Through empowerment, compassion, and a desire to understand one another, we can all thrive.

I work with children, adolescents and adults using Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, tailoring my approach to each client’s individual needs.

I look forward to supporting clients in various areas, including self-esteem and anxiety, social skill development, child and youth behavioural concerns, emotional regulation, parenting support, family conflict, trauma, and more
